Who we are

Movacamper is operated by Frank Snelders, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: hello@movacamper.com.

What data we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is what we collect and why:

• Analytics (anonymous): We track page views, search queries (city names only), and basic visitor counts using a privacy-friendly, cookie-free system. No personal data is stored — we use a hashed, non-reversible visitor identifier that cannot be linked back to you.
• Email address: Only if you voluntarily subscribe to deal alerts. Used solely to send you relocation deal updates.
• Search queries: City names you search for are stored anonymously to improve our service (e.g., knowing which routes are popular). These cannot be linked to any individual.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not use cookies.
• We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.
• We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or IP addresses.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

Third-party links

Movacamper contains links to third-party provider websites (Imoova, Roadsurfer, Indie Campers, Bunk Campers, Movacar). When you click through to these sites, their own privacy policies apply. We have no control over how they handle your data.

Email alerts

If you subscribe to deal alerts:

• We store your email address to send you deal notifications.
• We will not share your email with anyone.
• You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or by contacting us.

Data storage

Anonymous analytics data is stored on Upstash (Redis cloud service, EU region). Email addresses for subscribers are stored securely. We retain analytics data for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data (e.g., unsubscribe from email alerts).
• Object to processing of your data.
